HYALO4 PLUS cream 25 g and 100 g

HIALO4 PLUS cream is a product for external use, which includes the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid as the main component. Hyaluronic acid is a biological polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) found in the extracellular matrix of most tissues. It has been documented in several studies that it can participate in many multidirectional processes of tissue repair, promoting healing and re-epithelialization. Thanks to its hydrophilic properties, it provides a moist environment in the wound, necessary for the natural healing process. Silver sulfadiazine is a well-known antimicrobial that inhibits the growth of almost all pathogenic bacteria and fungi in vitro. The presence of silver sulfadiazine in the composition of the product plays a role in the prevention of microbial contamination, thus improving the ability of hyaluronic acid to promote wound healing. These characteristics make it possible to change the bandage only once a day: thanks to this, the patient feels the least discomfort, and the wound is exposed to minimal air, which reduces the possibility of its contamination.

The main component: sodium salt of hyaluronic acid 0.2%. Other components: silver sulfadiazine 1%, polyethylene glycol 400 monostearate, decyl ether of oleic acid, emulsified wax, glycerin, sorbitol solution 70%, purified water.

HIALO4 PLUS cream is indicated for the treatment of skin lesions, especially those with a high risk of infection.In particular, it is intended for application to acute and chronic wounds (burns of the first and second degrees, trophic and metabolic ulcers and bedsores), as well as to ensure a moist wound environment without microorganisms.

GIALO4 PLUS cream can be used for non-infected wounds to prevent them from becoming infected, and after successful treatment of infected wounds to prevent re-infection.

The wound must be cleaned before each application. Apply a thin layer of cream to the surface of the wound once or twice a day, depending on the severity of the lesion, until complete healing. Long-term treatment for a month should take place under the supervision of a doctor, taking into account the clinical dynamics of the lesion. The areas on which the cream is applied must be covered with a sterile bandage.

Do not use in patients with established individual intolerance to the components of the product, with liver or kidney failure, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. Do not apply to pregnant women and children.

Do not use if packaging is damaged. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. The expiration date refers to the product that has been stored in the original packaging at a temperature not higher than 30 °C. Dispose 12 months after first opening. After use, dispose of in accordance with national standards. Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid direct contact of the container with the wound.Each tube of GIALO4 PLUS cream should be used by only one patient to reduce the risk of cross-infection.Avoid exposing the treated areas to sunlight, as a product containing silver sulfadiazine may turn the skin brownish-gray. However, any skin discoloration can be easily removed by washing the area.

Do not use simultaneously with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts or topical proteolytic enzymes, as they may interact with the product.

Usually, GIALO4 PLUS cream is well tolerated. When treating large areas of the body, such side effects can be observed, which are sometimes observed after systemic administration of sulfonamides, such as renal failure, toxic hepatitis, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia.

Store at a temperature not higher than 30 °C. Do not freeze.
