HIALO4 START ointment 30 g (g) is a liquid ointment for external use, which includes sodium hyaluronate, obtained by bacterial fermentation, as the main component, as well as bacterial collagenase obtained from non-pathogenic strains of Vibrio alginolyticus as an auxiliary component.

HIALO4 START ointment 30 g(g) allows you to prepare the surface of the wound thanks to the moisturizing properties of hyaluronic acid, which stimulates the process of natural recovery and protects new viable tissue. It is known that the healing process of wounds occurs much faster in a moist environment. Bacterial collagenase helps to prepare the wound surface.

Main component: sodium hyaluronate 0.2% Other components: collagenase (not less than 2.0 nkat/g (nkat/g) ointment [1]), light vaseline oil, white vaseline.

Local treatment of chronic ulcers (ie, bedsores, trophic ulcers of the lower extremities, diabetic ulcers). In particular, the ointment is necessary to provide an optimal moist environment and to prepare the wound surface, which promotes the natural healing process.

Before application, the wound should be cleaned and disinfected. To ensure successful treatment, the wound area must be adequately hydrated. Dry wounds should be moistened with saline (0.9% NaCl) or solutions that are well tolerated by tissues, for example, glucose solution. The scab should be softened by applying a wet bandage.Apply a layer of GIALO4 START ointment about 2 mm thick to the wound daily or as directed by your doctor. Cover the treated area with a sterile dressing to ensure proper contact.

HIALO4 START ointment can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, if recommended by a doctor.

Do not apply GIALO4 START ointment to patients with established individual intolerance to the components of the product.

It is not recommended to use the product for more than 30 days. In case of an infectious complication, contact your doctor. It is not possible to use tetracycline topically together with HIALO4 START ointment. Do not use the product simultaneously with soaps/detergents, disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salt, silver or heavy metals, which may weaken the effect of the product. Ask your doctor about possible products for simultaneous use. Do not apply to damaged cartilage or tendons. Avoid getting the ointment on the mucous membranes. Seek immediate medical attention in case of accidental ingestion or inhalation. Avoid direct contact of the container with the wound. After each use, close the container with a lid. Do not use if the packaging is damaged. The ointment can be used up to 36 months after the first opening of the tube. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
