It is recommended to include under the supervision of a doctor as a dietary supplement as an additional source of vitamin D3 for infants and young children on breast and mixed feeding in order to create optimal dietary conditions for the functioning of the child’s body. The norm of daily physiological need for vitamins of group D (D2 – ergocalciferol, D3 – cholecalciferol) in infants and young children is increased due to intensive growth and metabolism, while their content in breast milk is insufficient. Deficiency of vitamin D in the diet increases in the winter-spring period of the year due to insufficient UV radiation, which can lead to manifestations of rickets (retardation of growth, disturbance of phosphorus-calcium metabolism, ossification of the skeleton). Therefore, additional intake of vitamin D is recommended for breastfed and mixed-fed infants and young children.

Method of use and recommended daily dose: before use, unscrew the cap from the bottle and screw on the dispenser.Dietary supplement “KROHA D3” can be used in different ways:

• dilute drops in a teaspoon of drinking water or milk, or baby food;
• or apply drops on a pacifier and give it to the child for 2-3 minutes;
• or apply drops directly into the oral cavity before feeding the child;
• or apply drops to the nipple of the breast of a nursing mother before feeding the child.

Full-term healthy infants (children from the 2nd month of life to one year) and young children (children from one year to three years old) should be given 2 drops (two presses of the dispenser) daily until they reach the age of 3 years (for excluding three summer months). For children from risk groups, the doctor determines the dose and duration of administration in accordance with the approved protocols of the Ministry of Health.

With mixed feeding, the doctor prescribes an individual daily dose of dietary supplement “KROHA D3”, based on the calculation of the content of vitamin D in adapted mixtures and breast milk. Do not use simultaneously with drugs containing vitamins of group D. Before use and during use, it is necessary to control the calcium content in the urine.Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
