PROCTIS-M PLUS is an ointment for rectal use. The package contains one 30 g aluminium tube with an applicator cannula.

Adjunctive therapy to enhance reparative processes in the anal-rectal canal after proctologic surgery; in case of internal and external haemorrhoids; proctitis; cryptitis, anal fissures; rectal fissures; perianal fistulas.

Interaction with other medicinal products has not been studied, therefore, it is recommended to consult a doctor before using PROCTIS-M PLUS Rectal Ointment together with other medical products or medicinal products for rectal use.

Wash your hands before and after using the medical device.

Apply the ointment topically in a thin layer. Intrarectal application is facilitated by the convenient cannula included in the kit.

1. Screw the cannula onto the tube and squeeze the tube until the cannula is filled with ointment.
2. Insert the cannula into the anal canal and squeeze the tube again to release a small amount of ointment.
3. Clean the applicator after use and close it with the protective cap.

The medical device is intended for personal use.

Apply twice a day, morning and evening, if possible – after a cleansing enema.

The use of topical products, especially long-term use, may cause sensitisation. If this occurs, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor for appropriate therapy. If you experience any other unwanted effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.

The expiry date only applies to the product in its undamaged packaging and properly stored. Do not use after the expiry date if the package has been opened or damaged. Store the medical device in a tightly closed container in a place protected from light and heat. Do not dispose of the medical device by throwing it into the sewerage system or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medical devices that are no longer in use. This will help protect the environment.
